The Research Professional Staff Awards recognize the outstanding and meritorious contributions of a research support staff member within the College of Agricultural Sciences (e.g., research technologists, farm and facility managers, research project managers, research administration, administrative support, etc.). Two awards will be made each year.
Who can submit a nomination for this award?
- Anyone can submit a nomination for this award.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be appointed as staff within the College of Agricultural Sciences.
- May include, but not limited to, appointments such as the following: research technologists, farm and facility managers, research project managers, research administration, administrative support.

Nomination Letter
- Nomination letters should address how the nominee's contributions have advanced research efforts in the college, including but not limited to demonstrations of the following:
- Achievements and contributions to research programs
- Positive impact the nominee has had in advancing and supporting research through noteworthy partnerships with research faculty, research staff, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Contributions in advancing the effectiveness or efficiency of research operations
- Mentorship and leadership within teams, labs, facilities, etc., including advancing and promoting diversity and inclusion
