Interested in applying for one of our college graduate programs? Find out how.

Each graduate program has its own admission requirements. Please choose the appropriate graduate degree program for more specific application instructions. All applicants for our graduate programs must complete an application for The Graduate School at Penn State.

It is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the research being conducted by the graduate faculty in your program of interest. Reach out to them and/or members of their lab to learn more about their research program and mentorship style with graduate students.

Dual-title degree programs are a unique opportunity at Penn State and enable students to broaden and fully integrate a second field of study alongside their major. You apply to these programs after you have matriculated into your major graduate program. If your graduate faculty adviser is not a graduate faculty member for the dual-title program, then a co-adviser with the dual-title program would be identified.

Our online programs are offered through Penn State’s World Campus and provide flexibility for those that want to broaden their education without the constraints of a traditional classroom. There are both Master’s in Professional Studies (MPS) programs as well as shorter certificate programs that are 12 to 15 credits.
