College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) provides the following opportunities to students advised by faculty in CAS.

Graduate Student Competitive Grants

The program serves as professional development for all CAS graduate students by providing real-life grant writing and budget building experience to seek funds to support master or doctoral research. It is anticipated that up to $40,000 will be awarded during this funding cycle.

Graduate Student Awards

These awards have been established to recognize graduate students, advised by College of Agricultural Sciences faculty.

Graduate Student Travel Awards

The purpose of this opportunity is to support graduate students in the College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS) for presenting their original research at national or international meetings.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Graduate Internship

This internship is designed to foster technology development by providing a current graduate student with an opportunity to participate in the process of taking discoveries from their research project towards commercialization.

Graduate School

Applications and nominations are submitted to the Graduate School's Office of Graduate Fellowships and Awards Administration. Recipients are selected by central committees that include members of graduate faculty throughout Penn State. Student Parent Child Care Subsidy Program

The Student Parent Child Care Subsidy program is a federal Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) and Penn State Student Initiated Fee (SIF) funded program that helps qualifying, low-income student parents sustain their educational efforts by paying a portion of their child care costs and encouraging them to select high-quality child care.
