This plan is designed to assist Penn State Extension faculty and staff in carrying out responsibilities required to be in compliance with Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1967, as amended, and the Civil Rights Act of 1991.
This site manages the civil rights compliance training required by all Pennsylvania Cooperative Extension faculty and staff in the College of Agricultural Sciences. All faculty and educators with Extension appointments and all staff working with Penn State Extension, regardless of the funding source, are expected to complete this training at least once every three years.
