The College of Ag Sciences and Penn Extension bring you programs like 4-H, Conservation Leadership School, Bug Camp, and Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences (VBS) Camp where kids can have fun, learn real ag, and develop invaluable leadership skills.

The Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences offers a four-week summer residential program held on University Park campus for academically talented and gifted high school students (rising seniors) from throughout Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Youth Institute (PYI), a part of the World Food Prize Foundation Programming, was first offered in 2017. PYI engages high school students in global thinking to address food insecurity. Aligned with the mission of the PA School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences (PSEAS) program, the institute showcases student research related to factors impacting, and more importantly, solutions for food insecurity.
The Great Insect Fair is an annual extravaganza held each September celebrating insects with lots of activities, games, crafts, tasty treats and fun for everyone!
