About the internship program:

Interns will work under the supervision of a partner organization during Summer 2025 to support their programming related to women in the agriculture industry. For example, you might develop materials or planning events for women farmers, help plan and deliver gender-sensitive trainings on sustainable agriculture, analyze data or write reports that assist with programming, work on the International Year of the Woman Farmer (2026) or some other aspect of the cutting-edge work highlighting the work of women in agriculture with our partner organizations! Interns will be paid a stipend and travel costs will be covered.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be pursuing a major or minor in the College of Agricultural Sciences
  • Must be an undergraduate or Master's student (PhD students are not eligible)
  • Prior coursework or experience working in gender and agriculture or closely related fields is not required, but will be an asset to your application.
