Applications are open for paid internships working in gender equity and women’s empowerment in agriculture around the globe and sustainable community development.

Are you interested in work that promotes gender equity and women’s empowerment in agriculture around the globe? Are you considering a career in sustainable agriculture or community development?

If so, APPLY NOW for a paid summer internship with the following organizations:

  • PASA (Pennsylvania)
  • IFPRI (Washington D.C.)
  • Oxfam (Nairobi, Kenya)
  • CARE (Nairobi, Kenya)

About the internship program:

Interns will work under the supervision of one of these organizations during Summer 2024 to support their programming on gender equity issues in agriculture. For example, you might develop extension materials or planning events for women farmers, help plan and deliver gender-sensitive trainings on sustainable agriculture, analyze data or write reports that assist with gender equity programming, or some other aspect of the cutting-edge work on gender equity in agriculture of our partner organizations! Interns will be paid a stipend and travel costs will be covered. Successful applicants will participate in a weeklong pre-internship preparation workshop in May 2024.
