Penn State Law Recently Announced the “Commonwealth Scholars Program”

Posted: December 16, 2013

Penn State student advisers are welcome to attend a "Lunch & Learn" Q&A on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, to learn about the “Commonwealth Scholars Program” for Pennsylvania residents, enrolling at Penn State Law, beginning in the fall of 2014.

This program provides a renewable grant of $20,000 per year, to offset a portion of the law school’s tuition. Pennsylvania residents remain eligible for merit-based financial aid in addition to the Commonwealth Scholars Grant.

The "Lunch & Learn" Q&A is on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, in the Lewis Katz Building auditorium. It will be held from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM and will be following by an informal luncheon in the law school Commons.  Please click on the following link to the online RSVP form

Penn State Law is planning a series of events for staff and students to answer questions about the Commonwealth Scholars Program. In addition to the January 7 "Lunch & Learn", the Office of Admissions is pleased to speak with groups of students and answer whatever questions they may have.  We would like to begin scheduling times now, before schedules fill after break.

Schedule a time for a member of the admissions staff to talk with your students. We envision a one hour session where we provide an overview of the Commonwealth Scholars Program and then answer whatever law school admissions/financial aid questions your students have.  The sessions can be scheduled during the day or in the evening.
