The Penn State Coaly Society is an honor society for students who exemplify leadership excellence in extracurricular activities within the College of Agricultural Sciences. Coaly Society activities include conducting the Guldin Speaking Contest and coordinating our College's Outstanding Senior Contest with the College of Ag Alumni Society.

Coaly Society members are dedicated to the College of Agricultural Sciences and are actively involved in college organizations. Selection of new Coaly Society members is based on leadership positions in agriculturally focused activities. You must be a member of at least one club sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences at University Park to be eligible, and you must have completed at least one full semester at the University Park campus. Applicants must have reached at least junior class standing academically. Although applicants must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher, the primary criterion used for selection is leadership and positive impact in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
