Seminar: Career and Technical Education through Agricultural Education for Native American Populations

Kayenta Unified School District in Kayenta, Arizona is a 2,000-student district on the Navajo Reservation with a powerhouse veterinary-science program that provides students deep knowledge of meaningful opportunities to support a Navajo community where families depend on livestock as their livelihood. The seminar will include Clyde McBride, Director of Career and Technical Education; Elissa McBride, Agriscience Teacher; and Monument Valley FFA members discussing their program and what has allowed them to build their agricultural program.
