AgSci Student News Redesigned!

Redesign of AgSci Student News based on student input. And coming soon, an easy online article submission process!

Based on feedback from 328 students responding to last fall’s readership survey, the AgSci Student News has been redesigned. 75% respondents felt a weekly newsletter is necessary but many of you offered suggestions for making the look and navigation of the newsletter easier and more attractive.

All news will be added to our website at, and we will continue to promote the latest news every Monday via email. We hope you appreciate the new look of the AgSci Student News and we welcome suggestions for improvement.

Submitting Your News

In the near future, you will be able to submit your news and events directly through this website.  In the meantime, continue to send news and events for the AgSci Student News to

  • News must be submitted by noon on Thursday to be included in the following week's news.
  • Be sure to include: (1) news or event title, (2) brief description, (3) if event, date, time and location, (4) contact information (e-mail and phone numbers).
  • We cannot include attachments, so please put your entire announcement in the body of your e-mail message.
  • News and events will be added to our website and promoted via email to registered College of Agricultural Sciences undergraduates, and College of Agricultural Sciences faculty and staff, every Monday.
