Participants will visit open field and high tunnel vegetable research plots and will learn about:
- Fresh market tomato and cucumber production
- Advantages and challenges associated with the use of high tunnels compared to open field production
- Organic vegetable production systems and associated opportunities and challenges
- Soil health and Anaerobic Soil Disinfestation an innovative biological solution for the management of soilborne pests and pathogens.
Members of our research and Extension team will lead the tour and will be available to answer questions.
