Penn State Forestry Extension will host the Forest Management Tour Daily "Goods from the Woods" for 2025. Tours leave from the Tour (Corn Crib) location. As well as have staff available in the J.D. Harrington Bldg to answer your questions and address landowner issues.
Woods provide many values, whether it is for wildlife, timber, or simple enjoyment, but all requires some level of time, commitment, and planning. Come explore the Penn State Demonstration Woodlot and talk with professionals about your questions. This year's tour will focus on Goods from the Woods. There is lots to learn about the many things we harvest and use from forests, and they are not just different types of wood!
