Each year the Agricultural Safety and Health team highlight a safety topic important to the everyday lives of farm families. This year learn about the hazards of riding lawnmowers, which are used on farms and by homeowners and responding to Ag Emergencies on the Farm. Visit the Rural Health and Safety Tent located at Demo Alley and W. 6th Street! There will be multiple health screening opportunities available each day. Visit AgrAbility for Pennsylvanians to learn about new adaptive resources for agricultural producers who have a disability or long-term health condition. Receive guidance and important screenings to help you and your family achieve optimal state of health along with safety and wellness supplies (as they last).

Farming with a disability or long-term health condition can be challenging. Visit with AgrAbility PA to learn about assistive technology, modifications, and resources to support you in your farming career.
The Penn State Agricultural Safety and Health program highlights a safety topic that is important to everyday life. Join us to learn about the hazards of skid steer operation. The team will introduce skid steer dangers, operational recommendations, and practical safety solutions related to blind spots. The Farm Safety Demonstration Area (SD) will also be used by commercial drone companies to demonstrate the safe use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
Visitors to the Rural Health and Safety Tent - located at Demo Alley and W. 6th Street, can participate in FREE health screenings, interactive activities, gather health and wellness information, and learn about farming with a disability or health condition. FREE health screenings will include carotid artery, vision, thyroid, stroke, blood sugar, blood pressure, colorectal health, and hepatitis C. Visit AgrAbility, PA to learn about assistive technology, modifications and resources to support farming careers.
