Join Block&Bridle, Penn State's largest agricultural club, to get involved in the Club Calf Sale, Blood for Bats, volunteering at KILE, and much more!

Block & Bridle has kicked off the 2014 school year by welcoming thirty new initiates to the club, bringing the total membership to 130 students to make it Penn State’s largest agricultural club. New members were assigned “Big B’s” as part of the club’s mentoring program at the chicken BBQ picnic the second week of classes. Since then, members have represented Block & Bridle at the Agriculture Club fair and collected blood from processed beef cattle to donate to the Philadelphia Zoo’s vampire bats. Future events such as the Block & Bridle National Convention, volunteering at the Keystone International Livestock Expedition (KILE), and the Club Calf Sale will keep the agenda full for this fall. Meetings are held every other Thursday at 7:00 p.m. with food beforehand, and the doors are always open to new students looking to get involved!
