Penn State Extension has a large population of wage employees and is considered a "decentralized wage unit." As such, the college will continue to provide wage onboarding within extension rather than sending them to Shared Services.
The PowerPoint "HR Shared Services Launch - Wage-Grad Process" outlines our responsibilities for the interim period (July 24, 2017-December 9, 2017) leading up to the implementation of Workday on December 10, 2017 and beyond. During the interim period we will, essentially, continue to operate "business as usual" as it relates to IBIS input and onboarding for the identified areas.
