- Tech Service: Use Workday to request time off and to report time in and time out.
- Part-Time Non-Academic: Use Workday to report time in and time out. You will no longer use paper timecards, Labman, or other internal time-tracking systems.
- Part-Time Earning Time (formerly HR05 Earned Time): Use Workday to request time off and to report time in and time out. Additional information is available on the University's HR Policies web page.
- Full-Time Academic and Postdoctoral Scholars/Fellows: You do not log time.
- Employees Based out of Extension County Offices: Extension employees follow either the county holiday schedule or the University holiday schedule. Six standard holidays are accounted for in Workday: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor day, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25. County-based employees are provided a balance of six additional holidays, which are to be taken in accordance with the various county schedules (e.g., MLK Day, Veteran's Day, Presidents Day) by submitting a Time Off Request. If the county office observes fewer than six holidays, the remaining holiday balance is available to the employee as personal holiday time, which must be used during the calendar year. If a county office is closed for other reasons (e.g., weather, voting), and the facilities cannot be accessed by employees to complete the necessary work, then it might be appropriate to record that time as a closure (with supervisor approval).
