Penn State’s Human Resources community is currently in the midst of the Human Resources Business Process Transformation—a multi-year transformation initiative focused on creating a Human Resources function that leverages up-to-date tools and technology for a more efficient and effective operation.

Included in this transformation is a relocation to the new 331 Building in Innovation Park. The HR community will come to know this new location as the Human Resources Shared Services Center.

HR units currently located in the new HR Shared Services Center are: Data and Onboarding; Recruiting and Sourcing (Part-time); Talent Acquisition (Full-time); Talent Management; and HR Information Technology.

HR units currently housed in the James M. Elliott Building include: Administration; Benefits and Absence Management; Compensation and Classification; HR Communications; HR Services; Labor and Employee Relations; Records Management; and Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Additionally, HR Strategic Partners and HR Consultants* are located regionally to serve the campuses and across the University Park campus within colleges and units.

As we move through this transition, please refer to the information and instructions on the Ag HR website regarding various HR actions.
