The following three scholarships are now open:
Goldwater Scholarship
Goldwater Scholarships are awarded to sophomores and juniors in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering pursuing careers in research. While national eligibility requires a 3.0 GPA, we highly recommend students have a 3.7 GPA or higher. Applicants must be US citizens.
The University can nominate up to four applicants from University Park and one transfer applicant (from another Penn State campus or a different university).

Truman Scholarship
Truman Scholarships are awarded to juniors with exceptional leadership potential pursuing careers in the federal government or the nonprofit and advocacy sectors. Applicants must have a 3.7 GPA or higher and be US citizens.
The University can nominate up to four applicants from University Park and four transfer applicants (from another Penn State campus or a different university).

Critical Language Scholarship
Critical Language Scholarships are awarded to current undergraduate or graduate students interested in mastering critical need languages to use later in their professional careers. Applicants must be US citizens.
