Kansas State University is hosting a plant health undergraduate research and extension experience (REEU) this summer. Paid two month summer (May 31 - July 28, 2023) research internships focus on plant health are available to undergraduate students with at least 2 semesters of coursework. Participants will engage in real world experience in plant health and related projects in addition to professional development necessary for graduate school and today's workplaces.
- Gain research experience in a laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings.
- Learn about how universities support agriculture through extension education to growers/farmers.
- Bolster your knowledge about how cutting-edge data science is used in agriculture.
- Enhance your science communication skills.
- Boost your understanding of how to succeed in graduate school.
- Experience multiple field trips to different agricultural production systems.
- Stipend of $5,350 along with free housing/dining and a travel allowance.
