The Penn State University Libraries is seeking current students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color, to participate in a research study. The purpose of this study is to identify the barriers that BIPOC students face in undergraduate research opportunities.
Participation in this study involves:
- A survey
- A one-hour interview
- $50 gift card for participation
The researchers are hoping to interview 20 students beginning in February 2022. These students will be actively participating in a research experience at Penn State, and ideally in the beginning stages of their experience. Students also must attend classes at Penn State and be classified as an undergraduate student.
