Outdoor School is a 2-credit class or 75-hour volunteer opportunity to guide, teach, and mentor young people in the outdoors. It's a great experience for anyone who will work with people in their career! Deadline to apply is February 9, 2024.
Shaver's Creek is making the world a better place by connecting people to the natural world through outdoor activities, science communication, and community building in this week-long residential outdoor education program for 4–6th graders. Outdoor School is a great resumé building experience for gaining 21st-century career skills: problem-solving, leadership, communication, and more! Join us in changing the world!
- Earn 2 GHW credits
- Earn 75 hours of community service
- Eat great food
SPRING 2024 DATES: Monday–Friday unless noted. Choose from:
- March 24-28 (Sun - Thurs)
- April 1-5
- April 8-12
- April 15-19
- April 30-May 3 (Tues - Fri)
Training Dates:
- February 22 & March 20 from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
AND the Wed/Thurs before your week from 6:00-7:00p.m.
