Applications are now being accepted for Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative’s annual scholarship program. The cooperative will award five $1,000 scholarships to deserving students in April 2018.
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry. To be eligible, applicants must be the son, daughter, or employee of a current co-op member or the son or daughter of a Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association employee. Applicants must also be enrolled at a two- or four-year accredited college, university, or trade school.
The deadline for applications is Friday, February 16, 2018. Winners will be selected based on their responses to essay questions, financial need, leadership activities and their career aspirations.
