Cargill and the Institute of International Education (IIE) are pleased to announce the launch of the 2018-2019 Cargill Global Scholars Program application cycle.
Three Pennsylvania State University students have been selected as scholars since the launch of the program in 2013.

Students in the following fields of interest are encouraged to apply:
- Agriculture Related Fields
- Business
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Engineering
- Food Science
- International Relations
- Political Science
- Public Policy
Ten scholars will be chosen in the United States for the seventh cohort of the Cargill Global Scholars Program.
The scholars will receive:
- Annual scholarship award of $2,500 for up to two years
- Fully funded travel and participation to attend two Leadership Development Seminars held during Summer 2019 and Summer 2020
- In-person networking with fellow scholars from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and Russia
- One-on-one mentorship from Cargill executives in the United States and abroad
Students who are first-year or sophomore year of undergraduate studies and U.S. citizen or permanent resident are eligible to apply.
