Congratulations Ian Gumto on being selected Ag Student of the Month for March 2022! Ag Student of the Month is a prestigious award given out by the College of Ag Student Council to a student that demonstrates actions that benefit their club and the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Ian Gumto is a dual major in Agribusiness Management and Plant Sciences. He is determined to advance scientific agriculture. He works hard in high level scientific plant courses, marketing, and business courses to elevate his family's flower business and help to create a new and sustainable flower market for the future with ornamental plants.
Ian serves as the President of Delta Theta Sigma fraternity, Beta Chapter, a social-professional agricultural fraternity. Also, he is involved in Horticulture Club, IFC (Interfraternity Council), and community service events.
