An exciting professional development opportunity is available for college juniors interested in careers in the seed industry! Application deadline is December 8, 2017.
Campus Connections is a program hosted each year by the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) through the Future Seed Executives (FuSE) Initiative. This opportunity was created to provide outstanding networking opportunities with industry mentors, executives, and thought leaders for university undergraduates who are interested in pursuing careers in the seed industry. Program participants will travel to the ASTA Policy & Leadership Development Conference in Washington, D.C. from June 9-13, 2018. FuSE will cover registration fees and lodging for the convention, and provide reimbursement for airfare and travel expenses.
Selected students will have the opportunity to engage in educational opportunities before and during the Policy & Leadership Development Conference, and will leave as strong collegiate ambassadors for the seed industry on their respective campuses. Campus Connections is designed for college juniors, or students who have one year of undergraduate studies remaining in an agronomy, plant science/genetics, crop science, agricultural business/economics, biological engineering, horticulture, floriculture or other seed-related degree program.
