College-wide Scholarships

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of academic success.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who have achieved a minimum 2.3 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and who are majoring or planning to major in Food Science, Plant Science, Agribusiness Management, or Biological Engineering, or who are minoring in Plant Pathology, Biological Engineering, Agricultural Systems Management, and/or Off-Road Equipment. First preference shall be given to students who graduated from the Tri-Valley Area High School in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania or successor high school. Second preference shall be given to students who graduated from Line Mountain High School in Herndon, Pennsylvania or the Upper Dauphin High School in Elizabethville, Pennsylvania or successor high schools. Third preference shall be given to students whose home address of residence is in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Fourth preference shall be given to students who graduated from a Pennsylvania high school. Students selected for the Kim L. Masser Memorial Scholarship shall be given the opportunity, but shall not be required, to apply for a potential co-operative experience or internship with Sterman Masser, Inc., and will receive first preference.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State University Park who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Biological Engineering major who have a demonstrated financial need. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to full-time students in good standing who are enrolled in two-year associate degree or undergraduate or to students in Winter Course Programs or graduate school in the College of Agricultural Sciences. Financial need to assure continuation in college shall be of primary consideration. Consideration shall also be given to character and leadership. Endowed by Kurvin W. and Eva S. Lauer.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. First preference shall be given to undergraduate students who meet the above mentioned criteria and who are minoring in Plant Pathology.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all adult undergraduate students with the desire to obtain a baccalaureate degree who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, The Pennsylvania State University, and who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest promise of outstanding academic success. The award shall be available to new or entering full-time or part-time adult learners who may be in degree, non-degree or provisional status. Preference shall be given to women within the limitations prescribed under Title IX U.S.C. Established by Lamartine F. and Emeline H. Hood.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in the Animal Science major within the College of Agricultural Sciences who have a demonstrated financial need. ** DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration is with the intent to provide financial support to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. The Office of Student Aid is responsible for identifying the eligible pool of students. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Agricultural and Extension Education, or successor degree program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all full-time undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences who are residents of Mercer County, and who have achieved superior academic records and/or have demonstrated outstanding character and leadership qualities as evidenced by participation in 4-H and extracurricular activities. Endowed by the Mercer County Cooperative Extension Association from friends and family of Leslie N. Firth.

Consideration for this award shall be given to full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences and who demonstrate leadership skills through participation in clubs, associations, societies, and teams within the College of Agricultural Sciences.

Consideration for scholarships shall be given to undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, who are participating in Raise.me, the Pathway to Success Summer Start Program ("PaSSS"), the Student Transitional Experiences Program ("STEP"), or Complete Penn State, or successor or additional programs created by the University under its Access and Affordability Pilot Programs. If no eligible students for the above-mentioned programs are identified in a particular academic year, then this endowment shall be used for scholarship support for undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences or successor academic unit, who have a demonstrated financial need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences, or successor academic unit, at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. From the identified pool of eligible recipients, and to the extent possible, first preference shall be given to students who are majoring in or planning to major in Forest Ecosystem Management, or successor degree program. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, available funds will be awarded to any student based on the general eligibility criteria, regardless of preference. **DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED

Consideration for this scholarship shall be given to all undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated financial need. First preference shall be given to students from the eligible pool whose home address of record is in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. If no students meet the first preference in a given year, funds will be awarded to any student in the College of Agricultural Sciences eligibility pool, regardless of preference. **DOCUMENTED FINANCIAL NEED REQUIRED
