Undergraduate Research Conference Presentation Support

The college will help to cost share requests approved and supported by the department up to $300. One request per student per academic year will be considered.

Requirements

• Student must be in good academic standing
• Faculty mentor letter of support
• Department must support request and provide funding to cost share the requested amount
• Presentations must relate to student's academic program
• Presentation must be accepted by conference

Procedure

• Student submits application for funding.
• Application routes to faculty mentor identified by student to submit letter of support.
• Application routes to department (either the department head or the administrative manager) or the campus contact for review and approval and to indicate the level of financial support they will provide.

• Department must support the request for the College to consider supporting.
• Application routes to College's Undergraduate Education Office for review, approval, and to indicate level of financial support from the college.
• If applicable, the Application will route to the Schreyer's Honor College after the college review
• After the college review, the Undergraduate Education Office will notify the student of the support they will receive and reach out to the department to obtain the needed budget information to transfer the funding being provided by the college
• It is the department's responsibility to work with the student on expense reimbursement.
