• Town Hall Meeting Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 10:00a.m. in the Red Barn Annex (RB)
  Kick off Ag Progress Days with Dean Troy Ott and Secretary Russell Redding as they reflect on 50 years at Rock Springs and discuss the current state and future of Pennsylvania agriculture. A Q&A session will follow opening remarks.

• PA. Farm Bureau (Centre, Clearfield, and Clinton County) and KeyState in a panel talk to hear a discussion of the ongoing US fertilizer crisis and KeyState Nitrogen as part of the long anticipated solution
  Tuesday, August 11, 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Location: Red Barn Annex
  1 Million Ton Per Year Nitrogen Production Coming to Pennsylvania.

• Joint House & Senate Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee Meeting Wednesday, August 12, 10:00 a.m. to noon Location: Red Barn Annex
  Cultivating 250 Years: Pennsylvania Agriculture—Past, Present, and Future. State legislators and agricultural leaders will discuss the evolution of Pennsylvania agriculture, current challenges, and future opportunities shaping the industry.

• Washington, DC Updates from Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson, Chairman, U.S. House Committee on Agriculture Wednesday, August 12, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Location: College Exhibits Building Theater Area
  This public event will be hosted by Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson of Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District and Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture. He will provide attendees with the latest updates from Washington and highlight the Committee’s work to reauthorize the Farm Bill. After, attendees are encouraged to participate in a Q&A session.
