Application deadline for Animal Institute and Food Institute is February 21, 2023. Scholarship deadline is March 9, 2023.
Ag Future of America is a national organization, aimed at fostering the professional development and leadership skills of students in the agricultural sciences.
There are several upcoming opportunities to get involved with AFA, including upcoming institutes focused on food and animal sciences. Past participation in AFA activities is not required to attend and partial travel support is available from the Office for Undergraduate Education.

NATIONAL AG DAY
Consider engaging in National Ag Day as a collegiate program participant with the ultimate goal of increasing the public awareness of agriculture's vital role in our society. By signing up, you are registering for a multipart virtual training series, a live online session February 15, and are encouraged to schedule virtual or in-person visits with your legislators on/around National Ag Day, March 21. The February 15 session will be hosted online at 7:30 p.m. ET. All other resources will be delivered on-demand online.
