Welcoming groups of all ages
The Pasto Agricultural Museum is happy to schedule tours for groups of 10 or more. On a guided tour, your group will gain a rich understanding of where our food comes from and discover inventions and technology that have made large-scale food production possible.
Tours for scout troops, clubs, and 4-H groups can be tailored to each groups' interests and needs. For middle and high school groups, tours can be customized to include visits to the research farm and on-campus sites. Contact the Museum so that we can help plan the right tour for your group.
Schedule a Group Tour
Group tours are available March-December, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Other days are available on request.
To request a group tour, submit the registration form, call the museum at 814-863-1383, or email PastoAgMuseum@psu.edu. Submission of the online registration form is required before a tour date can be confirmed by the museum.
Busing Fund
The Museum is proud to support the K-12 community in Central Pennsylvania by providing reimbursement for bus transportation costs on a first-come, first-served basis. We thank supporters of the Friends of the Pasto Agricultural Museum for making the Bussing Fund possible. For details, contact the curator Museum staff at 814-863-1383 or rsg7@psu.edu.
Other Attractions
We are happy to connect your group with our Penn State museums and partners. Extend your visit! Take a Research Farm Tour or a Woodlot Tour with Forestry Educators. Learn about pollinators at the Demonstration Garden with Master Gardeners. And on campus just 20 minutes away, visit one of the many other museums or collections, the Penn State Arboretum, and be sure to stop by the Berkey Creamery for ice cream!
