For all employee's safety, both Ag Admin and Henning Buildings must be vacated from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Monday, March 6th.
A major electrical shutdown has been scheduled to install a new transformer and electrical service to North Residence Halls. As part of this shutdown, Ag Admin and Henning Buildings will be without normal electrical power (Emergency power and standby power will not be effected) from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Monday, March 6th. During the 3:00pm - 5:00pm timeframe, both Ag Admin and Henning Buildings must be vacated for employees safety.
Per policy, all employees who work in these buildings will need to account for their time away from the office. The three options are:
- Work from an alternate location (Must have supervisor approval)
- Flex Working Hours (Must have supervisor approval and hours must be made up within the work week, 3/6-3/10)
- Use Vacation Time
This shutdown will also disrupt IT services College-wide, including County Extension Offices. The College IT department will begin shutting down servers hosted in Ag Admin Building at 2:00pm on March 6th. Services will be restored at the completion of the shutdown, approximately 6:00pm, if all goes as planned.
