Training for Worker Protection, Hazard Communication (HazCom), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Machine Shop Safety.

Farm Managers: Upon your employees first day of employment you need to meet the following safety requirements. All employees need to have the minimum trainings.

Worker Protection

Worker Protection Standard training is instruction on the safety precautions to be used when working with pesticides and in treated areas. This course is required annually under the Pesticide Management Program for any employee who applies pesticides or works or conducts research at an agricultural facility where pesticides are applied and who does not have a Pesticide Applicators License. The training format is a 30 min video shown in the classroom in the presence of a Certified Pesticide Applicator, plus the acknowledgement of worker training documentation.
