This page contains information about AEDs used throughout University Park Campus.
The College of Agricultural Sciences has begun CPR / AED and First Aid Training for those who wished to take the training. It has been noticed that many of the participants are not very familiar with the AED that is used on campus.
Penn State utilizes the Philips Onsite AED. The OnSite is designed for the ordinary person in the extraordinary moment. It is easy to set-up and includes automatic Life Guidance features like voice prompts and CPR coaching to help guide you through the treatment of sudden cardiac arrest.
We urge you to familiarize yourself with the location of AEDs in your work area. If you are uncertain, please look at the building evacuation map on your floor or located on our website. These maps feature location of the AEDs.
In addition, a video link has been added showing how these devices are used.
