It is with great pleasure that I welcome you for the 2023-2024 academic year. I am absolutely thrilled that you are pursuing your educational journey in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
Higher learning is not always an easy pathway. It requires personal discipline, time, and commitment. My principal acknowledgment to you this semester... thrive.
Make the most of every opportunity to grow and have meaningful experiences throughout the semester. Learn as much as you can and challenge yourself to try new things. Build strong, collaborative relationships with your adviser and faculty. Invest in your coursework and partner with classmates. Embody yourself in your studies so you become the expert and leader for tomorrow.
This is a special place, where you can explore your passions—whether that is in the great outdoors, our numerous barns and greenhouses, or our state-of-the-art labs and research facilities. There are unique spaces at every turn, including adventures abroad, and rewarding opportunities abound.
