Students encouraged to apply for the Wayne Dudley Scholarship program. Deadline of January 31, 2019.

Select Sire Power will award up to $15,000 to students in 2019. Students who have completed their first full year of college in an agricultural study are encouraged to apply for the Wayne Dudley Scholarship program. The scholarship program provides additional return to the cooperative's member-owners by supporting the next generation of young people desiring to study and work in the agricultural industry. Scholarship forms are available beginning November 12, 2018 under the "News" tab of www.selectsirepower.com, by calling (540) 483-5123, or by emailing Kirk Sattazahn at . Completed scholarship applications are due January 31, 2019.
The Wayne Dudley Scholarship program provides financial support to eligible college undergraduates in agriculture majors. The Select Sire Power, Inc. board of directors has made a commitment to providing money to support this scholarship program on an ongoing annual basis. In 2019, one recipient will receive $3,000. Several other students will receive scholarships of $750-$1,000 in value. Since the year 2000, Select Sire Power has given over $165,000 to deserving future farmers and young agricultural leaders in the Select Sire Power sales area.
