Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, Office of Senior VP for Research and Office of Science Outreach, Eberly College of Science are inviting you to participate in the largest online science outreach festival - SciFest All Access 2020 organized by USA Science and Engineering Festival.

Held from September 16-23, 2020, this online festival provides an opportunity for K-12 students, teachers and families from all across United States and internationally to learn about STEM topics. USASEF's inaugural virtual conference in July 2020 had 67,000 individuals representing 50 states and 59 countries participate. Following a successful virtual event of that scale, the organizers decided to hold this year's festival as a virtual event in September.

This is a great opportunity to showcase Penn State research to a global audience and encourage participation in STEM. Undergraduate, graduate students, postdocs, faculty who are interested in sharing an image, video, text, games, anything that can be put on an html page and is related to, based on or about the research you are doing for a K-12 audience, can email postdocaffairs@psu.edu.

Interested postdocs and assistant research professors can repurpose any submission based on their research at Penn State for SciFest All Access 2020 towards the media submissions of 13th Annual Postdoc Research Exhibition or vice versa.

We do not need to be present in-person during the festival. However, registered audience members will get an opportunity to “Ask a Scientist" and send in their questions by email and the scientists responsible for the content of the questions are expected to send in their answers within 1-2 days.

Deadline to inform of your interest in participating is September 8, 2020 and the deadline to submit the content is September 14, 2020. Please email postdocaffairs@psu.edu with any questions you may have.
