As a unit of The Herb Society of America, Inc., the Pennsylvania Heartland Unit plans to award two $2,000 scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2024.
A group dedicated to studying and actively sharing horticulture history and exploring herb use, the Pennsylvania Heartland Herb Society is pleased to offer two $2,000 scholarships this year. Scholarships will be awarded to each student active within the field of horticulture or a related study.
Students must be living in the Southeast Pennsylvania area, which includes: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Columbia, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Monroe, Philadelphia, Schuylkill and York counties. Applicants must be a full-time second, third, or fourth year student in the study of horticulture or a related fields which include: agricultural sciences, botany, plant sciences, agronomy, environmental sciences, landscape design, and sustainability studies.
