Undergraduate students are invited to change the world through engagement and education with schoolchildren. Outdoor School at Shaver's Creek is a 2-credit Gen Ed (GHW) course and leadership experience teaching young people about the natural world.

Outdoor School ( is for everyone and no prior knowledge, experience, or equipment is needed!

You are invited to apply to be a Counselor for our environmental education program and spend a week alongside your PSU peers and a bunch of fun-loving 5th graders! You can earn 2 GHW credits via RPTM or SCIED, 75 community service hours, and gain hands-on experience in leadership and teaching.
