The Penn State livestock judging team traveled to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to compete in the collegiate judging contest.
Members of the 2025 team traveled to Houston, Texas, and found success in the 121-student competition!
This is a favorite contest each year with lots of learning opportunities: Brahmans, market livestock, and simply agriculture in the south. This contest is big, but the students always accept a challenge and make Penn State proud!

- Megan Zipprich - 28th in sheep and goats
- Jeremy Rose - 53rd in placings
- David Shultheis - 19th in goats
- 17th team overall
- 15th team cattle
- 15th team sheep and goats
- 4th team placings
- 3rd team goats
