The Penn State Livestock Judging Team competed in their last contest of the season in Louisville, KY.
The Penn State Livestock Judging Team traveled to the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky for their final contest of the season. The five-person team represented Penn State in the collegiate livestock judging contest and placed 15th overall.
In preparation for the contest, members visited seven different cattle, sheep, and hog operations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. This was just one of nine contests the team competed in this year and a few of the regions they visited to learn about livestock production. Readers should keep an eye out for a summary article that will highlight the team's success and travel throughout the year!
