By participating in this series, students will be well prepared to submit a competitive application come January.

Earlier this semester, the Undergraduate Research and Fellowships Mentoring asked students what support would be helpful in their pursuit of an Erickson Discovery Grant. Based on their feedback, we are partnering up with the University Libraries to offer the first-ever Erickson Discovery Grant Bootcamp Series.

It's not too late! Students register for Thursday's event to learn the ins and outs of the program, as well as hear from Undergraduate Research Ambassadors who have received the grant and used it to pursue their own research and creative projects.
Below is our proposed schedule for applicants or they can visit our Canvas page for additional resources.

Week of October 26 - Attend the information session on October 27 to learn how to identify a research mentor and develop a research topic. Applicants are encouraged to supplement this event by participating in the University Libraries' introductory workshops on qualitative and quantitative research.
