The International Agricultural Education Fellowship Program (IAEFP) is searching for fellows for our 2024 programs in Ghana and Guatemala! IAEFP is funded by the USDA Foreign Agriculture Service and is hosted by the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture at Texas A&M University. This would be an incredible opportunity for graduating seniors, those looking for a year-long sabbatical, or other agricultural professionals.

This program trains and supports up to nine fellows for each cohort to live and work in communities in the respective countries. Fellows serve as agriscience teachers, establish youth development programs with sustainable agricultural projects, and work with community leaders to identify other agricultural development needs. Please share this opportunity with potential applicants.

Join a virtual information webinar for potential applicants to learn more about the program on November 21, at 6:00 pm CT. Register here!

Requirements to Apply:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an agricultural related field by August 2024
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Interested in a long-term, international experience
  • Fluent in Spanish (Guatemala program only)
