The Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania (GCFP) is offering thirteen scholarships (minimum of $1,000) to students who plan to further their education in:

  • Agriculture Education
  • Agronomy
  • Biology (excluding Medical)
  • Botany
  • City Planning (Rural/Urban)
  • Conservation
  • Environmental Concerns (Management: Environmental Engineering, Conservation, etc.)
  • Floriculture
  • Forestry
  • Horticulture
  • Land Management
  • Landscape Architecture
  • Plant Pathology
  • Wildlife Science
  • and/or allied subjects

GCFP scholarship information and application may be found here under the forms library.  Scholarships are available to high school seniors, undergraduate or graduate students who are residents of Pennsylvania. Applications must be signed by a sponsoring federated garden club located in the student's area of residence (district). Clubs are listed by district on the website.  If you need help determining what district you reside in and how to contact the listed clubs, please contact the Scholarship Chairman. Affiliate clubs can not sponsor a student. Forms may be filled out online before printing. All applications must be sent to the GCFP State Scholarship Chairman in Pennsylvania listed on the www.pagardenclubs.org website by the February 1, 2022 deadline.

A student who is a sophomore (or above) in college applying for the GCFP scholarship can also apply for a national scholarship by filling out both GCFP and National Garden Clubs (NGC) applications.  Only one NGC winner per state is allowed per year.
