Tau Phi Delta is proud to announce its next speaker event! Come join us on Wednesday, September 13th to see Penn State's own Greg Hoover and Joe Humphreys speak about Pennsylvania hatches and perform a fly casting demonstration.
Greg Hoover has earned the recognition of one of the most knowledgeable and respected aquatic entomologists within the fly fishing community. He has also co-authored books such as Great Rivers: Great Hatches with Charlie Meck.
Joe Humphreys is one of the most recognizable names in fly fishing. The apprentice of George Harvey, Joe developed into a successful and pioneering trout fisherman. After penning Trout Tactics and developing several unique casting and fishing methods, Joe solidified himself as one of the most iconic names in the sport.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at the Tau Phi Delta fraternity house at 427 East Fairmount Avenue. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. The casting demo will take place outdoors so dress accordingly. We are excited and hope to see you there!
