Three (3) Penn State education abroad programs will remain open for applications until Thursday, October 5 as part of the Penn State Global Strategic Partner Mobility Initiative. All students who commit to participating will receive a guaranteed $3,000 study abroad scholarship for the spring 2024 semester from Penn State Global!
Missed the September 10 deadline and thought you were unable to study abroad this spring semester? Not quite! There is still a chance to study abroad during the spring 2024 semester by taking advantage of the Penn State Global Strategic Partner Mobility Initiative!
Through this initiative, there are still three (3) spring 2024 education abroad programs you may apply to before Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 11:59 PM (EDT).
- Freiburg: University of Freiburg - click here - (open to all undergraduate students, language requirement)
- Kuala Lumpur: Monash University Malaysia - click here - (open to all undergraduate students)
- Melbourne: Monash University - click here - (open to all undergraduate students)
Each of these three (3) programs gives Penn State students the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student in Germany (University of Freiburg), Australia (Monash University), or Malaysia (Monash University)! Please note: These are the only programs eligible for the extended spring 2024 application deadline.
All students who commit to participating in only any of these three (3) eligible exchange programs will receive a guaranteed $3,000 study abroad scholarship for the spring 2024 semester from Penn State Global. No application required! Scholarships will be awarded pursuant to Penn State financial guidelines and eligibility to receive institutional scholarships.
