Prepare and present a 5-6 minute speech about a topic in agriculture for the chance to win a monetary prize!
Are you looking for a great way to earn money this semester? The Guldin Speaking Contest is coming up soon!
First place wins $500, and up to eight contestants will receive monetary prizes deposited in their bursar's account.
The contest is open to anyone enrolled in a major of the College of Agricultural Sciences. Speeches for the preliminary round will be held at 6pm on Monday, October 14th and must be between 5-6 minutes in length. The final round of speeches (from those advancing from the preliminary round) will be held on Thursday, October 17th. Speech topics can be anything related to agriculture.
