The Undergraduate Diversity Essay Contest is sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences Diversity Coordinating Council. It is intended to increase awareness, promote understanding, and raise the value of diversity among students. As students of today are employees and leaders of tomorrow, intercultural fluency and the ability to interact effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds is an important career competency. The contest is open to all undergraduate students in the College of Agricultural Sciences.
