Talk with fall career days employers about diversity at work, issues, solutions, and professionalism during this guided discussion.
When? Monday, Sept. 16th - 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where? 103 Bank of America Career Services Building
What is it? Diversity Dialogues is a Fall Career Days event, sponsored by Penn State Career Services, that brings employers and students together for an intimate discussion about diversity in the workplace. Seating is very limited for this event, so please register as soon as possible using this link.
Who Should Attend? All students are welcome to attend, whether they are first year students, graduate students, or somewhere in between.
Structure of the Event: The first hour of the event includes a discussion of different scenarios regarding diversity in the workplace, and is followed by an hour of networking with Fall Career Days employers. The event is free to students, and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres during the networking portion of the event.
Do you belong to a student organization? Career Services is hosting a Student Organization Challenge for this event. The organization that has the highest number of students attend will raise $500 for their organization. The 2nd highest will raise $300 and the 3rd highest will raise $100. Clubs need to have members attend to win this challenge.
In addition to the student organization challenge, generous gift cards to the PSU bookstore, among others, will be given away to students who attend this event. Must be present to win!
