  • A talk will be held on at noon on Monday, Nov 6th in Foster Auditorium in 102 Paterno Library and via ZOOM, and is entitled "The New Native Kitchen, Rediscovering American Cuisine" and will highlight the history and significant contributions of Native Americans to global cuisine based on his published cookbook “New Native Kitchen: Celebrating Modern Recipes of the American Indian”. University Park students are encouraged to attend in person, and for non-UP students, the event will also be live-streamed and recorded. A QR code will be displayed at the end of the presentation to capture attendance and ensure accountability.   • Oct 30th through Nov 5th, the Centre Film Festival will be hosting an Indigenous Peoples Heritage track, presenting a curated selection of films that elucidate the diverse experiences and narratives of Indigenous communities.
  • Tuesday, Nov 7th at 5pm a themed meal will be hosted by Penn State Housing and Food Services in the East Food District orchestrated by Chef Bitsoie, guiding attendees through a gastronomic exploration of modern Native American cuisine.
